An EU-Canada joint infrastructure for next-generation multi-Study Heart research

OBJECTIVES

Develop a FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Re-usable) data platform for enhanced data sharing and analysis in cardiovascular research
Leverage the power of multi-centre and multi-omics data in personalised cardiovascular medicine
Develop tools for image analysis and bioinformatics, biomarker quantification, knowledge discovery and risk assessment
Define legal governance frameworks to enable trusted and compliant data sharing across countries in line with Open Science tenets

ROLES

Coordinate and manage the euCanSHare project
Identify biological mediators and environmental moderators of the impact of ELS on disease and multi-morbidity development
Coordinate the development of the data analysis tools
Develop imaging, radiomics and AI tools for cardiovascular personalised medicine
Validate the platform and tools with concrete clinical use cases
