Last week, our lab director and ICREA professor Dr. Karim Lekadir, took part in the “Equity in Action: Driving Progress in Cancer Care” summit in Prayagraj, India.
This event brought together global experts – from policymakers and health experts, to patient advocates – to tackle disparities in cancer care across the Asia-Pacific region. Dr. Lekadir shared insights on how AI and digital health can help improve early cancer detection and make treatments more accessible.
The summit also launched the Asia-Pacific Declaration on Cancer Care, a major step toward fairer and more accessible cancer treatment worldwide. More information about the summit can be found here.
