Abstract: Advancements in AI are transforming medical knowledge and practice. However, building trustworthy AI requires more than technical excellence—it demands careful attention to complex ethical and societal challenges, including bias, fairness, transparency, and accountability. This webinar draws on the FUTURE-AI framework to explore the ethical, institutional, and social dimensions of AI in healthcare. It will highlight trust as a dynamic, relational process and examine how AI systems can be designed to be not only technically reliable, but also ethically robust and socially responsible.
