Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence for Personalised Risk Assessment in Chronic Heart Failure

OBJECTIVES

Design, develop and demonstrate the first trustworthy AI technology for personalised risk
assessment and improved management of HF patients in clinical cardiology.
Implement a human-centred, multi-stakeholder, inclusive approach to improve awareness,
acceptance and promotion of trustworthy AI in cardiovascular risk assessment.
Develop the very first traceability tool for AI-powered cardiovascular risk assessment, which
will enable transparent and continuous monitoring of the AI tools during their lifetime.
Implement the very first international, multi-faceted clinical validation study for AI-powered
risk assessment in cardiology in multiple developed and developing countries.
Promote and evaluate the outcomes and impacts of the proposed trustworthy AI4HF solution.

ROLES

Develop Trustworthy-by-Design Specification Document based on FUTURE-AI guidelines.
Install a federated platform, execute on federated learning and report on activities.
Optimise bias detection and mitigation methods.
Implement explainable AI interfaces.
Set up a system for continuous evaluation and learning.
Evaluate feasibility, gather feedback and technical updates.
