Image-Based Cardiac Diagnosis With Machine Learning; A Review

On 24 January 2020, our partners the University of Barcelona and Queen Mary University of London published – among others – the review article “Image-Based Cardiac Diagnosis With Machine Learning: A Review” on Frontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine.

The article, available open access on the publisher’s website, presents a thorough review of recent works in the field of artificial intelligence applications leveraging cardiac imaging data for the diagnosis of cardiovascular disease (CVD), and provide the reader with a detailed presentation of the machine learning methods that can be further exploited to enable more automated, precise and early diagnosis of most CVDs.
